These sites have their own program file transfer tool available on their site to make transferring your data easily, so you will not need your own FTP program. When using an online backup service you will want to be sure to transfer your data that you have changed. This service is not meant to transfer your entire hard drive, since you are depending on an internet connection. About two years ago I purchased an external hard drive thinking that I was doing a good thing protecting my files, until it stopped working. I can not get the darn thing to go on. I was so angry and frustrated because I had my entire portfolio and business presentation on their and now they were gone. What I learned from that is what I should have done is have two forms of backup. Many people today have a home computer and also a laptop. You don't want to forget to backup your laptop files. Purchasing the data backup software will make transferring your data much more time efficient and save you a lot of aggravation.
